The Pripetshik Singers!!

THE PRIPETSHIK SINGERS perform all kinds of Yiddish songs in fresh ways, with choreography, staging and props. An exciting ensemble of eight native-Yiddish-speaking teens and children led by musical director Binyumen (Ben) Schaechter, they sing classic Yiddish songs and traditional English songs in Yiddish.  English translations are always provided.  The group, which grew out of the Pripetshik Shule (a Yiddish Sunday school in New York City) in 1999, has performed at Lincoln Center and throughout the Northeast United States.  Since they sing adult songs and childrenÕs songs, their performances are for those of all ages who love Yiddish. No knowledge of Yiddish required.
