Drug Uses
Claritin is an antihistamine. It is used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergy and other allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, and red, itchy, tearing eyes. Claritin causes less drowsiness than other antihistamines.
How Taken
Claritin comes as a tablet to take by mouth. 12 Hour Tablet is taken 2 times a day (keeping a 12 hour interval between the dosages), 24 Hour Tablet- is taken once a day. You should swallow this product. Do not break or chew the tablet. Take Claritin with plenty of clear water.
Additional Information
While taking Claritin, you should be careful when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Sometimes this drug may cause drowsiness and dizziness.
