Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other situations as advised by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as ordered by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It can take 2 - 3 weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
Additional Information
Anafranil can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your physician.
