Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other conditions as prescribed by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as directed by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with food intake. It may take 2 - 3 weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
More Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
