Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other conditions as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as pre-scripted by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It can take 2 - 3 weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
Additional Information
Anafranil can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
